like trans men can benefit from the patriarchy and can still display toxic masculinity however we will never be able to on the same level as cis men, especially if we’re gnc, can’t transition or don’t want to transition +
and you have to realize that cis women still have privilege over trans men. just because we’re men doesn’t mean transphobia doesn’t apply to us anymore and we’re suddenly not oppressed. plus, most of us have experienced misogyny at some point because we were raised as girls!
+ however this does NOT mean trans men are exempt from being misogynistic and i believe in the transmasc community we need to talk more about misogyny because there is a LOT here and it’s gross
+ last tweet. transmascs we need to start listening to trans women and transfems more because the amount of transmisogyny in this community is appalling
