This year’s @ASH_Hematology annual meeting features a great deal of exciting talks, posters and sessions on racial #healthinequities in hematology care.

Now for the highlights!

Virtual #ASH2020 will still start off with ASH-a-Palooza! On Thursday December 3rd at 7:15am PST, I’ll be giving a Blood Drop (short talk) on Naming Racism as a Cause of Health Disparities.

Then on Friday December 4 at 8amPST, Dr. Ahmar Zaidi @drzsicklecell will be giving an ASH TALK on Racial Disparities in Hematology. #ASH2020

Scientific workshops also precede the “meat” of the annual meeting. Disparities related workshops this year focusing on disparities in malignant hematology (2:05PM), disparities in benign hematology (3:30PM) and disparities in COVID-19-related hematology (4:30PM) #ASH2020

On Saturday, December 5th at 12:00PM PST Dr. Alan Mast and Dr. Wally Smith are co-chairing a *Special Scientific Session* on Race and Science. This is new for #ASH2020 and will feature talks on disparities, diversity & scientific innovation. #ASH2020 https://ash.confex.com/ash/2020/webprogram/Session19894.html
