i fucking hate obama so much it's unreal
i gave away my copy of The Manufacturing of a President but there's a really good part in it where madsen says roughly:
"obama isn't his parents and nobody is saying he's responsible for what they did, but he continues to lie, cover for, & deny the atrocities they took part in"
kind of like that canadian minister Chystia Freeland. her parents were pretty influential nazis and she continues to have some very sus opinions abt it
i only bring up indonesia because his borderline rationalization & apologism for the genocide in the new book is what got me pissed off
