I've spoken pretty openly about my fears and anxiety about being a business owner. It's because I am just a dude who found some investors to make something happen. Covid has hit me pretty hard. I have paid myself 1/2 of a month this year. And yet
This is a global fucking pandemic. over 200,000 people are dead. People are not coming to the bars not because a governor told them to wear a mask, people are not coming because... you guessed it's a goddamned global pandemic. Until we get it under control, businesses will suffer
And that brings me to what was cut from this interview. My employees are sacrificing, making fractions, having to work through the pandemic, all of us are sacrificing. And what? Paul Gazelka throws a party w/ no masks and goes on vacation with Covid?
Paul Gazelka, the guy who spent the whole election season throwing a hissy fit about masks, throws a party and becomes a superspreader, but everyone else is out here sacrificing? FUCK. PAUL. GAZELKA. In fact screw all the obstructionists who created this situation.
I'm absolutely furious. I am busting my ass off. We all are. And all these guys can do is bitch about masks? MASKS? Republicans have done nothing for people like me. They've done nothing for workers. We can all go die and our businesses can die.
