Your Rudy Giuliani update. Our hero was making his return to a court yesterday for the first time since 1992. He forgot the name of his opposing counsel and confused the judge with the one hearing a State case (that was chucked out today). Plus seemed unfamiliar with PA law.

Rudy has until 5pm EST to file opposition to the State’s application to strike out his rubbish claim that the court should strike out 6.8 votes because of whatever. It’s like your worst lawyering nightmare on steroids

Ok so now it seems that Rudy’s team is trying to reinstate parts of the original claim which were inadvertently deleted in an amended claim) about poll watchers not allowed to watch. When @wapo said that these parts had been deleted they were met by a volley of abuse and denial.

Now it’s reported that having filed an re-re-amendment, in accordance with the Judge’s order, they have deleted it again. You couldn’t make it up. And it gets better.

It seems yesterday that Rudy actually retweeted his co-counsels tweet WHILST HE WAS STILL IN COURT. The tweet was praising the excellence of his opening (described by opposing counsel as an in-American rant).

Am now reading the Opposition to strikeout which talks about new counsel “former Mayor Rudy Giuliani”. What does his former mayor status have to do with the price of fish? #baffled

Am now intending to sign all pleadings Arsenal Fan Daphne Romney QC. Of maybe Daphne Romney QC author of Equal Pay Law and Practice. I mean if it’s good enough for Rudy Giuliani...
