The Pat Williams thing is strange because on one hand, he absolutely is gaining steam for no real reason, which is usually a minor red flag, BUT I and most of the people I really trust were much higher on him than the NBA seemed to be
Do not draft him if you think he's going to be Kawhi, that's dumb and wrong, but we did a mock draft way before the lottery where he went 5th and everyone was like "yeah that's a good gamble."
he didn't start a single game as a Freshman but he was on the best team in the ACC and is pretty close to physically dominant for his age. He's not gonna defend down but I think he could defend UP like a monster. Great helpside guy. Good passer, can dribble some. Monster OREB guy
And like I've said, he's an 80+ FT guy as an 18 year old F/C. That doesn't happen super often, and is a very good sign for being a legit shooter. He can be slow laterally that's my only real criticism. I'm pretty sure he will start in this league longterm.
