I spent a lot of this year being scared of being honest about things because I was worried that I'd be shunned by a community that I'd grown to love.

You know what? Fuck it. I've got some things to say.

(A thread:)
1) This is an obvious opener, but SEXUALLY HARASSING PEOPLE IS WRONG. I don't care how much alcohol you've had to drink, or what bad shit you're going through. No excuses. It's wrong and disgusting. Consent is everything.
2) If you value your sales or followers more than speaking out against racist, sexist, transphobic assholes, you are in the wrong. Be LOUD about the things that matter; people need your support, ESPECIALLY if you're in a position if great privilege or power.
3) Book reviewing is a hobby. I don't get paid to do it. It is not my job, it's not a contracted obligation, and it is NOT something I'm willing to be shamed into doing. Whining about these things won't make me read faster; in fact, it'll make me toss your book in the trash.
4) I don't care if you like me.
I don't care if you unfollow me.
I don't care if you shit talk me or my art on fake accounts because you're too cowardly to insult me directly.

I'll keep living my rainbow life and being a good person.
