THREAD: Reporting or following news on @LAO_CA forecast? Let's keep the numbers in perspective.

State policymakers have choices about how to support the millions of Californians hit hardest by #COVID19 pandemic and recession - many who were hurting long before now. https://twitter.com/LAO_CA/status/1329124005228421121
What we learn (again and again) is we have a deeply unequal economy where wealthy Californians and corporations are thriving and Californians with low incomes are not. https://tracktherecovery.org/
TODAY, we must keep in mind too other important numbers and the people behind those numbers:

Over 930,000 Californians have tested positive for COVID-19 and nearly 18,000 have died more than eight months into the pandemic. #healthequity @CHCFNews https://www.chcf.org/blog/how-california-can-advance-health-equity-covid-19-era/
So... comes back to investment in California we want for all, not the few.

How will CA leaders use revenues, and raise additional revenues, to help people have health care, housing, living wages and jobs, quality education, child care?
