If you ever hope to function as professional comic artist/cartoonist, find a balance between Good Enough and Fast Enough as quickly as you can. https://twitter.com/rendezart/status/1291180101170638848
You *could* absolutely spend three weeks on a single comic page and whip out some Bernie Wrightson-level masterpiece, sure. You could *absolutely* do that.

But that's 17 pages a year.

No one will hire you. Very few potential readers will stick with you.
OR, you could clench your jaw, leave the page alone when it's "Eh, good enough." by your estimation, and get to the next one. And maybe that knocks you up to a page a week.

Still not amazing, but a helluvalot better.
And if the thought of behaving that way fills you with dread?

Hate to be the one to tell you, but if you put the three-week page and the one-week page on a side-by-side, most readers probably wouldn't notice much difference.

That's just how it is.
