3. reached dizzying new heights in just a decade + now. A current POTUS who, with the help of his enablers and sycophants, has made a mockery of this rule by law ideal. And now a sitting US Senator was trying to have legal ballots in our democratic-republic dismissed and yet
4. he remains unscathed for these efforts but woman like Crystal Mason languishes in a Texas prison for 5 yrs bc she cast a vote “illegally”, a vote that wasn’t even counted. Honestly, with all of this and so much more
5. why in the hell should I continue to lie to my students about this “rule of law”? John Adams was wrong- we DO seem to be a nation of men and not laws. Carry on.
