London, the most densely populated area of the UK, containing well over 10% of the entire population, continues to register cases, and much more importantly hospitalisations and serious illness, significantly below the rest of the country.
Despite London's restaurants being back in use since July, there has been no significant jump in infections. Eat Out To Help Out did not cause a leap in illness. There have been no infections among chefs or servers. These are safe and secure places. Closing them serves no purpose

Existence of those who work in them, frequent them, love them. We should all be joining the call for guaranteed reopening on the 3rd. There is no justification for extending lockdown. And the consequences of doing so will be put this city back decades. Thank you @dvh_ellis
