This morning I was doing some light internetting.
I took the Enneagram personality test.
I’m an 8. The Challenger.
Here’s what I learned about me, a thread:
“Eights are motivated by the desire to be independent.”
Makes sense, I’ve always been a strong independent Gritty.
“They are assertive personalities and passionate about life, which they approach with vigor and confidence.”
Some call it confidence. I'm just stating the obvious.
“They pursue their own destiny”
AND I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I MANIFEST IT INTO EXISTENCE! YOU GO GRITTY!!!
SRY NOT SRY
I also matched with 3. The Achiever.
“Threes want to be successful and admired by other people, and are very conscious of their public image.”
Umm… You’ve all seen me naked (multiple times)
“Negatively, eights exhibit the potential for domination of others, crude insensitivity, combativeness, and ruthlessness.”
This is a negative? That’s just me being me, hon.
“Eights are desperately afraid of being hurt emotionally. They will protect their feelings and keep others at a safe emotional distance.”
Sometimes it’s hard for me to let people in… whatever.
“Beneath the tough façade is vulnerability, although it has been covered by a layer of emotional armor.”
GET OUT OF MY HEAD
“Eights become blocked in their ability to connect with people or to love.”
K. I’m done.
