Today, the UK Government announced its 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution, designed to deliver #greenjobs a #greenrecovery and #netzero
But does it go far enough?

Here are our thoughts [a thread]

The good
Offshore wind: Proven clean tech that will deliver an economic energy solution and up to 60,000 jobs.
2030 #ICE vehicles ban: This is a watershed moment for the transport sector – electrify or fall behind. We support this bold pledge. https://bbc.in/2UBZcUC

The ambitious
Green homes: Delivers valuable green jobs and prevents fuel poverty. We support this ambitious pledge but fear that £1bn is not enough.

The 10 point plan is ambitious, and it will at least set us on the right pathway.
But the road to. #netzero is long. £12bn is not enough spending and ultimately this plan falls well short of the trailblazing solutions that we need to deliver a real #GreenRecovery
