I was taking 120mg oxy a day on top of sipping lean (not proud of it).
I quit cold turkey. If you can stay home for 4-5 days and have the ability to recover, you can do it. However, I recommend you stay hydrated and have someone to help you through it.

Imodium is an OTC medicine that activates opioid receptors but won’t reset withdrawals. It helps a little but don’t over-do it.
Plain promethazine or Benadryl helps with the nausea. NyQuil and Restful Legs (OTC medicines) will help you sleep.

Take plenty of vitamins and antioxidants. Eat nutritious food. Try to get up and exercise if you can (it releases chemicals in your brain that mimic opioids). CBD/Essential Oils and Epsom Salt Baths help a lot. A lot of people recommend Kratom, although I haven’t tried it.
If you are really deep into addiction and don’t think you can quit by yourself, don’t be afraid to seek professional help.
Xanax/Klonopin helps with sleep as well. However, you can’t let it become a habit because then you would just be replacing one drug with another (one that causes even worse withdrawal symptoms).
After the 4-5 days, you will get past the first stage of withdrawal that involves the worst symptoms. After that stage, you will enter post-acute withdrawal which will affect you for several months to a year even, until your brain rewires itself back to normal.
If you can go a full year without relapsing, your body will be able to recover correctly. If you relapse a month in Sobriety, it will unfortunately reset the long-term effects on your brain. Try to stay clean for as long as possible.
If you do relapse, don’t beat yourself up about it. Addiction can get the best of us sometimes. It doesn’t discriminate and it’s rough to get out of it when you’re in too deep. The main goal is to free yourself from physical and mental dependence.
Some people may never get fully sober, but you can at least learn self-control. You don’t need to poison yourself every day until you’re trapped depending on a substance.
And if you can’t get sober because you don’t have 3-5 days to spare due to responsibilities, work, etc. Or if you’re afraid of being labeled an addict by doctors...
I feel you.
But sometimes you need to be realistic with your body and put your health first.

Smoking weed/wax or eating edibles/shrooms can help a lot too.
