2020 certainly didn't start the way Joan wanted it to
A DNF in the first race at the Jerez was far from ideal. But an equal best #MotoGP result of 5th a week later at least showed some positives after the first two rounds

Unfortunately, Mir's Championship run met a further setback
A racing incident with Lecuona saw Mir finish the 3rd race of the season at Brno with just 11 points next to his name

Premier class podium #1!
A sensational 2nd place at the #AustrianGP was what started it all for Mir!
It was great to see @jackmilleraus congratulate Mir after the pair had swapped places on the final lap!

A restarted race ended in 4th place for Mir and visible disappointment of what could have been

Mir and Suzuki had hit their stride!

But in Le Mans, the weather had other ideas!

After leaping the hurdle of Le Mans to finish 11th, Mir was back on track in Aragon!
Another podium and the lead of the World Championship!

The #AlcanizGP would follow and as Championship pressure built, Mir kept his cool
After another podium, the 23-year-old headed to Valencia with a 14 point lead!

FINALLY, he had done it!

One #MatchPoint was all Mir needed to wrap up the 2020 title!
7th place across the line but #1 in 2020!
