1/3 WI reported 92 #COVID19 deaths Tuesday. What if the age group that suffers the most deaths/hardship would be 30-60 year olds vs 60-90 year olds? Would our aggressiveness to try and take mitigations more seriously be different?
2/3 If the answer is yes, this tells a lot about how we value our elders and our older populations in the US.

They work 40-50 years, they get 10-20 years of retirement and then often we push them into long term care facilities.
3/4 As a country, we don’t value and honor our elders like we really should be and this pandemic is magnifying that.
