Lately, couple govt. ma’ams have exercised their power in the most unacceptable ways is not only a prime example of the continuation of the colonial structures, but also a testament to the fact that India is either unwilling or has failed totally in changing its structures 1/
These very structures had led to the suppression of Hindus (partition history of Bengal is a perfect example) & partition and the attempt at eradicating Hinduism (look at the British missionary policies before anyone says that Brits left their subjects culturally alone) 2/
Why is it noteworthy that these were ladies in question? While it could be easy to slap a Memri tv meme here, actually the thing is that that’d only be a cope. What went so terribly wrong that ‘Narishakti’ has produced a Roopa who flaunts her feminism on her twitter bio, 3/
but has resorted in such arrogance that she’s using her working time to fight anon accounts? What gave Lipi such remorseless confidence to justify the k*llings? Whatabout that Ritika who till the end thought what she did was right? Majority of 'RW' lives in a bubble. Why? 4/
Because 'RW' thinks that because they gave some big 'RW' accounts likes and retweets, they're winning. Have people seen what was written on print media regarding Ritika Jindal case? I wrote a thread on Tanishq boycott and how it would in reality look like. The pattern repeats 5/
On a tangent, the suspension of TI actually benefits TI because masses are seeing the injustice. Whatever the truth may be, the timing was on point. I would've said that these incidents are making the masses realise the true threats, but I also know that Hs memory is too short 6/
Nothing would change; the structure & the establishment would remain. Hs would continue to cry about RW ecosystem, not even realising that the basic terminology they use are dumb as hell. Like RW, really? No party in India is nearly as RW as an average European centrist party 7/
Nityananda Sir shared a video of Puri Shankaracharya saying how crackers are a distortion. Couple of points:

1) Puri Shankaracharya is wiser than me, & none of what comes next in any way has anything to do with him

2) However, Roopa, TI and Nityananda all missed the point 8/
TI eventually got it but it was too late. The point is not what’s in the scriptures. People hardly care about history, it’s more a battle of narratives. It doesn’t matter if what’s in the scriptures isn’t exactly what is used nowadays, because that's not the point either 9/
The point was that the state has the nerve to lecture Hs & use its might to ban, harass, arrest, even kill Hs for practicing their religion. No other religion in India gets this treatment by the state. So it’s irrelevant what was in the scriptures when it was never about that 10/
You see all this shit now? If BJP goes out of power, does anyone think that even this feeble RW or H ‘’ecosystem’’ that exists now would really survive? There are no real lobbies for Hs. If there are, theyäre demonized & silenced. Why? Because that’s what India’s founded on 11/11
