They can be extremely uncomfortable games, certainly at higher altitudes. Very tight, very little space, more physical and different style of football & refereeing than seen in Europe on weekly basis. + huge pressure & expectation to qualify.
The match ups and upsets are fascinating. Games packed with action, high volume of cards. South American teams go to war with one another for the chance to go to the World Cup.
