When Gandhi started Daandi March he announced that if he couldn't make it successful he will not return in Sabarmati Ashram.
He did not succeed in it and instead of returning to Sabermati he established another Ashram named Sevagram. wasn't that violation of his pratigya?

India got divided and Pakistan formed but Gandhi remained alive.
