I've gone back and forth about talking about this on here, but I think it's important that other SW involved in activism, particularly BLM or antifa, know what's been going on with me in case they become targets as well. Basically I've been put on a t*rrorist watch list. 1/4
I have to get to the airport 3 hours before my plane leaves, because ticket agents have to call the NSA to get permission to allow me into the airport and to make sure an air Marshall will be on my flights. I get pulled for extremely invasive private screening at TSA. 2/4
They then have TSA wait at my gate and search (only) me again as I get onto the plane. This happens again at my layover. Both ticket agents and TSA folks have told me they've never seen anyone with this high of a risk warning since right after 9/11. 3/4
Mind you, the only thing I've been arrested for is breaking curfew, rioting, & resisting arrest at the protests in June, & those charges were dropped. I have no criminal record aside from a decade old DUI. There's no reason for this other than to punish me for helping BLM. 4/4
