Labour will never get my vote again.
Not because of allegiance to Corbyn, but because they clearly have zero energy to address anti-Blackness and Islamophobia. Seeing this play out after how many years of “no other minority”, means I’ve tuned out. The Labour Party is not conducive to my wellbeing.
Imagine seeing “no other minority” for two years, then the same minority group you’re part of has to stage some of the most newsworthy protests in living memory - to demand we stop being killed, stopped and searched and failed by an inadequate curriculum. Gaslit.
Imagine your elders getting deported and made destitute, or watching your loved ones burn to death and then being told highlighting it is “whataboutery”. Imagine these not being election defining issues whilst simultaneously being told “no other minority”.
We were basically called Nazis for calling out how we have been used as a rhetorical device over this whole period. I hate all of you that participated in this and I hope unhappiness follows you until your end.
