Everything about this take is depressing

2) It might be that it’s not possible this year. If so, even someone as soulless as Piers Morgan must appreciate the enormous pain that this will cause people, most especially parents whose children now live far away from them. Sneering about “gorging on turkeys” is vile.
3) Morgan engaging in performative interfaith religion-baiting, pretending that this country has had some year zero moment where its history and culture has been obliterated. Christmas just is is bigger than all of the other religious festivals put together (including Easter
