1. Powering every home in the country with offshore wind, quadrupling how much we produce to 40GW by 2030.

This will support up to 60,000 jobs.

2. Generating 5GW of energy through hydrogen by 2030 and developing the first town powered entirely by hydrogen by the end of the decade.

3. Advancing nuclear as a clean energy source, with large scale nuclear and developing the next generation of small and advanced reactors.

4. Backing our world-leading car manufacturing bases in the West Midlands and North East to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles, ending the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans by 2030.

5. Making cycling and walking more attractive ways to travel and investing in zero-emission public transport of the future.

6. Supporting difficult-to-decarbonise industries to become greener through research projects for zero-emission planes and ships.

7. Making our homes, schools and hospitals greener, warmer and more energy efficient, creating 50,000 jobs by 2030.

8. We will become a world-leader in technology to capture and store harmful emissions away from the atmosphere, with a target to remove 10MT of CO2 by 2030.

9. Protecting and restoring our natural environment, creating and retaining thousands of jobs.

10. Developing cutting edge technologies to reach new energy ambitions.
