A few thoughts based on the last month or two’s data.

Hospitality must look beyond surface cleaning and spacing to ventilation in order to meet science where it currently is (aerosols, especially built up by inadequate airflow are the major concern indoors).
From natural airflow (windows and doors cracked or flung open), temporary solutions (fans blowing air out of indoor spaces, assisting in the clearing of aerosol build up), to ventilation systems installed permanently, there are options that must be explored and implemented.
As you’ve read these past months, I think the government has made awful decisions, often weeks or months late, & lost trust, but I sincerely believe that hospitality must evolve to centre safety claims around air changes, negative air pressure, and airflow, over surface cleaning.
Where the government has failed to gain and hold public trust time and again, hospitality can gain trust back in a heartbeat with small but impactful changes.
