what will be parler's biz model as they grow? if it ads, then technically that's selling user data the same way FB and twitter does. I can't imagine they'll have a paywall. at the end of the day, all apps need revenue & there are only a few ways to do it. will be fun to watch lol
I mean I guess you can sell ad space and make it completely un-targeted to the user but then you risk advertisers not seeing the value when the ads don't perform well and begin pull out media spend. again THIS IS WILL BE FUN TO WATCH 🍿🍿🍿
over and over again "free speech" social platforms claim to be ~different~ but in the end they all devolve into the same thing: radicalized, poor UI/UX, cesspool of trolls, memes and conspiracy theories (re: gab, 4chan, 8chan, 8kun)
