MIGOP Chair Laura Cox was a state rep in Wayne Co, representing heavily white Livonia, so she's plugged in to GOP activists, two of whom tried to block certifying election results initially. She lost her state Senate bid in 2018 and ran for MIGOP chair with Trump's blessing.
