I mean, just follow the events of the last 10 days. Look at who Donald Trump is, and what he thinks of us.

He has utter contempt for our democracy, our republic, and our voters. Nothing matters to him unless HE WINS. If that doesn’t happen, Trump will destroy whatever he can.

73 million people voted for Trump. Do you think any of them will give a flying goddamn if Joe Biden gives Trump a pass in the name of national unity? No, they’ll watch Fox News & read the Daily Wire and accuse Hunter Biden of colluding with the Squad to make Christianity illegal.

President Obama constantly tried to appease the Republicans by proposing moderate solutions. Hell, even his 2016 Supreme Court nomination Merrick Garland was a calculated attempt to appeal to both sides. But to McConnell & crew, Obama might as well have nominated Fidel Castro.

I guess what I’m saying is, Obama spent much of his eight years in office trying to appease the Republican Party so as not to be too “divisive” AND LOOK WHERE THAT FUCKING GOT US.
