Today Utah certified our state’s election results. Although @KarinaforUtah and I didn’t win, there are some things we and all Utahns have to be proud of and optimistic about. First, I’m proud we won more votes than any Democratic Party gubernatorial campaign in Utah history. 1/8
We set a positive example of vigorous policy debate without scandal, selfishness, name calling, or deceit. We stood up and fought for working people, earning the endorsement of many leading labor unions including the @MineWorkers, @IBEW, @SouthwestCarps, @CWAUnion, and the @UFCW. #UnionStrong 3/8
We helped train over twenty campaign staffers, most of them college student interns, and energized nearly two hundred volunteers. I believe and hope many of these Utahns will continue to push for practical solutions to the challenges of our time. 4/8

. @JoeBiden endorsed our campaign stating “Chris Peterson will help our country heal and make a positive difference in the daily lives of Utahns. I’m proud of his track record of fighting for consumer protections and access to health care. I stand with Chris and thank him ...” 6/8
While Utah didn’t vote for @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris, young Utah’s did. Utahns ages 18-29 voted for The President-elect over Trump 50%-46%.
