intense fight against a former friend, and not to mention the amount of trauma, regret and guilt gintoki feels when having to face this friend of his. he's just straight up tired, yet he desperately struggles to get up because he wants to at least fulfill one out of the two +
promises he made - to protect his friends. he continues to get up no matter how much pain he's feeling and how much mental exhaustion is weighing his mind, because he has yet to save shoka sonjuku's takasugi shinsuke.
i give all the credit to sugita for this, being able to put so much emotions into this.
