EVs are expensive. To buy, yes. To run? Peanuts. My e-Niro costs me 1.1p per mile charging at home. Servicing costs cheaper and less goes wrong. Bonus: get solar and drive for free!
Hydrogen's the future? It's costly, less efficient and explodes. Electricity is ubiquitous!
Cobalt is bad! Yes. You know it's used for refining fossil fuel too? At least it's recyclable at a battery's end of life.
Batteries need replacing after 2 years? No. Modern batteries easily last 100k miles. When no longer useful in cars they can be used for static storage.
If you've not tried an EV yet, just give one a go. I guarantee you'll love it and wish you'd gone electric sooner.
