The worst thing about Jeremy Corbyn (and there are a great many) is that he brings out & provokes the worst in absolutely everyone. His supporters, his opponents and everyone in the middle.
Ironic for a guy who promised a kinder, gentler politics. He is a magnet for total rage.

He became a magnet for assorted cranks, racists and loons to become his local footsoilders and enforcers to take over a once great party. Ultimately resulting in Labour having broken the law towards a minority. On his watch.
Which seems to be to be grossly prejudicial behavior that has brought the Labour Party into disrepute. But todays complaint sadly wasn't on that, it was on a narrower complaint.
The problem is so bad now that even if he was expelled the problem would remain for a considerable period of time. These creeps are dug in and dug in well. But Corbyn through provoking & channelling this rage has turned himself into a symbol for all that is wrong in our politics.
He has become a binary choice. In or out of mainstream political discourse. It may well be that today the grounds for his expulsion simply were not there. But ultimately that binary choice will have to be made. One way or the other.
If this is the kind of politics people want to live for then it isn't the kind of politics any good and sensible people should want to be around. And it certainly won't be a politics that commands the confidence of the country.
