I find it hilarious how folks on the right pretend to view those on the left. Charlie Kirk saying that the left hates Thanksgiving... Come on. He doesn't really BELIEVE that. It's just part of the caricature of the left that they want to hang their hats on.

And Mike freaking LOVED THANKSGIVING. Thanksgiving looked different from others' thanksgivings. We had "orphan" thanksgiving with all of our theater friends who couldn't leave Philly for the holidays cause they performed in shows the next day.
We invited ooodles of people.
And we NEVER. EVER. had turkey. That was the one rule.

But we made it an hours long affair. Multiple courses.

Right after the soup course - right before we started the main course... we would go around one by one and say what each of us was thankful for. There were many tears.
It was emotion and heartfelt and vulnerable.

And every single person at these dinners was pretty quite liberal.
