*deep breath* Endeavor is not an "unreliable narrator" in 291. He is recalling memories to himself and we have no reason to believe that he is missing or misconstruing any information. There aren't any times in the manga where Endeavor has denied accusations made of him.
Shouto is an unreliable narrator because he is missing information, obviously. Dabi is an unreliable narrator because he showed us himself he has no problem manipulating facts for his own gain. There is no reason for Endeavor to lie to himself in his own memory.
IT IS FAIR TO SAY that we still don't have a complete picture on the Todoroki family drama, because we don't, there are three perspectives still missing, but seriously
Back up and digest the story.

By the way, a character being an unreliable narrator is not a *bad* thing, they enrich a story and make them compelling, (its why getting Endeavors POV vs Dabi@/ simultaneously now is so compelling).
In BNHA, most of the time, the audience is in equal position with the characters; ie, we don't know any more or any less than they do, so we are relying on what the tell us to understand the story. 291 is particularly good because we get to be in the superior position.
being an unreliable narrator does not implicitly indicate that the person is lying. Shouto was not lying about his experiences. It simply means the character is either providing incomplete/incorrect information due to their own ignorance OR malicious intent.
