We saw that in the way the AFL cut the AFLW 2020 season midway through the finals, without any discussion given to resurrecting it. We see that in these pathways that dry up the minute men see the value of women's football as a stepping stone in their careers.
The reality in AFL is that it's still a game run by and for men. Women get the leftovers.
