Its my view conservatives belong to a persecuted and marginalized minority based exclusively on how the left defines those concepts.

We are targeted for violence.
Harassment.
Discrimination.
Demonization.
Stereotyping.
Hateful rhetoric.
Suppression.

Based on *who we are*
Political affiliation is no different than religious affiliation.

If I dropped out of politics today, I would forever be marked for hate by the left. Even if I changed politics I would be a 'former' associate and be treated as a second class person. See: Lincoln Project
Moreover, my conservatism is not just a hobby. It reflects my deeply held beliefs and morals which cannot simply be tossed aside.

I *am* conservative. I don't just identify as one.

Its as much a part of who I am as being Jewish or gay is. And its what I am hated for.
Every one of us face all the threats of social, professional and physical targeting the left insists burdens minorities, women and LGBT.

Except the most powerful voices in our culture openly celebrate and advocate for it.

We are a persecuted, marginalized minority group.
I don't point this out to say we are victims.

But I do think its time we recognize the reality of the situation.

Everything the left says minorities fear, they openly do to us. We have an entire dominant political party openly calling for our suppression.

Its real.
Most importantly, none of this is based on how we view or identify ourselves, but how the left labels us.

Like other minority groups, the powerful have segregated us, labeled us and imposed a series of justifications on why we should be suppressed.

We have no power to stop it.
