Just FYI, Rotterdam (Netherlands) is Europe's biggest seaport and is a vital transshipment hub - the country itself does not use all these beans. Germany is another that takes in a lot of beans and re-exports across Europe. Sometimes the beans are crushed first then exported.
FYI x 2: Out of the EU-28, Spain uses the most soybean oil in biodiesel production according to the European Soy Monitor. European biodiesel mostly relies on rapeseed as feedstock, with palm oil as the second most prominent.
