Momentum is Taylor’s best friend. At nearly 230lbs he can get up to a velocities of 22mph +.
The absence of momentum is deceleration/stagnation, which he wants to avoid due to how difficult it is to steer movement at his size & velocity.

Decision-making when contact is imminent is as simple as ‘Engage or Evade’
Taylor bails out of acceleration, when the more efficient path would be to veer towards the boundary in hopes of creating space with a straight arm.

He doesn’t possess the dynamic lateral skill set to bend plays back or to manipulate defenders at the second level.
However, he can still be very successful with greater consistency.

There is no concrete timeline for when consistent success will come, but Taylor has all the physical tools to be a great back.
With the Colts sound offensive environment & bright coaching staff he can grow into a Pro-bowl caliber rusher.
