Another day, another scandal in a privately-owned children's home. Ofsted has shut down this home in Wolverhampton run by Osei Minkah Care Ltd because of the dangers it presents to children who live there.

The charge sheet is long and painful.
This dangerous home is a dump. This company is paid thousands of pounds a week for this.
Young people have moved into this home in recent weeks. Hard to understand how social workers signed this off, without being concerned about the state of this property.
This home was rated inadequate at its first inspection after registration. It has never provided anything approximating good care.
This is precisely the kind of grotesque failings in children's homes care identified in last week's reports by @ChildrensComm
Ofsted describes staff at the home as 'complicit' in the context of criminal exploitation. It goes on to say staff do not take safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
