I'm sick of hiding my bisexuality in queer circles because I don't want to be openly mocked by lesbians again for *daring* to be attracted to men. Why is this okay?
Like I get it. "Men Bad" or whatever. But this sexuality hierarchy, like there's some right way to be queer, is the same mentality as "gold star" lesbians, who we rightfully call transphobic. So why do trans lesbians think it's okay to scoff at someone for being attracted to men?
I expect behavior like this from cishets, but being queer and blatantly & constantly invalidating someone's sexuality as a cute meme/bit, is just laughably hypocritical and regressive. It's a microaggression, and it makes you look like an asshole.
