On august 30th, around 8:30 a white man in a silver car from the 90s/ early 2000s pulled a gun on a black male student in front of the corner store on 13th. After, the white man drove off and almost ran over me and another guy who were crossing the road.

The white man pulls a gun on the only black guy on the sidewalk, while there were other white people on the sidewalk. The young black student has never seen the man before.

I called the UT police and reported it as a hate crime, as the black student was singled out and targeted. There was no UT alert sent out to students and...

I’m not sure if the police even alerted UT or checked out the cameras at the corner store, which could have identified the man.
