We're so great, we're threatened by families fleeing violence south of our border, and thus tear children from their parents' arms and force adults and children alike into brutal conditions--cold rooms, chainlink cages outside, no soap, no diapers, uncooked food?
We have an election where a deeply unpopular white supremacist numpty lost by nearly 6 million votes, refuses to concede, and is attempting to conspire with state-level Republicans to secure another term against the will of the people.

2.5 million children are homeless in this country, 40 million people are at risk of losing their housing, and our federal legislature can't get its shit together to extend the eviction moratorium because the Senate majority leader is licking his wounds over a lost election?
Cities spend between 25-40% of their budgets on cops and paid out $300 million on police misconduct suits, but cops solve less than half of violent crimes, less than a fifth of property crimes. They do murder around 1,000 people each year though, almost never held accountable.
Cops also disproportionately harass, brutalize, and kill Black and indigenous people. It's well known US law enforcement has been infiltrated by white supremacists.

Half the nation's elected officials have spent months straight up lying about a deadly virus for purely political reasons, over a quarter of a million people are dead, that number could very well double in the next 3 months, and we're supposed to be world STEM leaders?
We're stuck in a country where the vast majority of us are being dictated to by a radical far-right minority who are only in power because 200 years ago a bunch of rich white men didn't want to offend their rich white slave-owning friends.
Where a radical far-right minority still holds sway, because white people choose punishing Black, brown, and indigenous people for existing over literally everything else. They burned the country to the ground over it once and are more than happy to do it again.
This is supposed to be the greatest country in the world? This apartheid oligarchy? This failed state, which has brought its residents nothing but death, ruin, and malicious incompetence?
