Zack, for a long time, watched and edited his movie on his computer in black and white.

The history lesson was always Uxas (Young Darkseid), mo-capped by Richard Cetrone, Ben Affleck's Batman stunt double.

He pounded the Earth with his staff to reveal the Anti-Life equation because he thinks it's on Earth. The symbols from the ground (lava) need to be deciphered!

Zack answering my question about him compared to Zod's power:

The only thing that can stand up to him is the New Gods!

Superman being killed by Doomsday.

He says Uxas and Steppenwolf are comparable to Doomsday in strength when up against Superman.

He talks about the easter eggs in this shot. "A lot of cryptic messages in it."

A lot of the pieces of the puzzle are in this shot.

Apokolips armada and firepits.

The same Joker card taped on Batman's rifle in Knightmare BvS.

The Omega symbol tells you where they were.

They had giant water canons blasting Jason with tons of water and used a high speed slowmo camera.

You can see Silas' empty chair there.

To the left is Cyborg's apartment. He's watching and remembering his football days.

Cyborg has been hiding ever since the accident. He feels trapped in the apartment and doesn't know how to be out in the world.

He's questioning who he is and his role.

Zack being vague says that he won't give much away about this shot, only that it's epic.

After saving these kids, the little girl asks Wonder Woman "Can I be like you one day?" and Diana answers with a resounding "Yes."

Q: How many Kryptonians are on Earth?

A: Look back at Man of Steel at the scout ship scene and spot the open stasis bed. Who it is remains to be a mystery...

Barry is applying for a job at the pet store. Our first introduction to his Speed Force and powers.

Barry has to be super careful saving humans at super speed because his speed could hurt them.

Also, his shoes burn off because he moves too fast.

"Iris is taken with this stranger" says Zack.

We don't see how Barry got his powers. Zack left that piece of the story to be told by another director.

We'll see Barry's relationship with his father, his struggle to figure out his life, and trying to help his father.

Zack likes Iris. We don't see her a ton.

The angel statue is the same angel statue from WATCHMEN and SUCKER PUNCH.

Zack has always wanted to do a classic Batman on a gargoyle shot. This is on top of GCPD.

He has a miniature of the gargoyle.

This was a set for BvS in Detroit and rebuilt again in England.

He praises Diane Lane and Amy Adams' performances here. They talk about loss and moving on.

"This scene in particular strikes me as beautiful."

Arthur and Vulko have a relationship. Vulko keeps Atlanna's trident and trains Arthur with it (AQUAMAN).

Vulko tells him it's time for him to take his place as King of Atlantis.

Mera is one of the guardians of the Mother Box. It is the ancient resting place of the Mother Box.

Uxas has revealed the Anti-Life Equation and is forming the Unity. He doesn't realized he's about to go toe-to-toe with the protectors of Earth.

He gives Darkseid updates via hologram. Gives a lot of backstory and we see his dark ambitions.

Vic trying to deal with some events that took place in STAR Labs.

Zack praises Ray Fisher's performance in this scene.

"New born Superman"

He wanted to keep Superman in the sky among us with these kind of shots.

"Lois sees the impossible"

"Silas committing a selfless act"

There's a spiky dude behind Vic. He's a bit distracted.

Zack says it was fun to do this Dr. Manhattanesque shot.

Batman diverting a horde of Parademons so the team can reach the reactor.

What we see Cyborg do is the tip of the iceberg. We don't know just how powerful he truly is.

Hippolyta running up the wall to wreck a Parademon. The Parademons aren't super smart.

Steppenwolf's original design was said to be too scary and alien, so they changed it. Now it's back to the og spiky fucker.

He's conquered many worlds.

First time they fight against Steppenwolf as a real team.

The spikes are Steppenwolf's armor. We'll get to see him strip it off for a sequence.

Barry saving people at super speed from falling debris. The Speed Force makes it seem like he's flying.

Superman facing off against Steppenwolf. They really go at it.

The armor moves with Steppenwolf emotionally. It's like a living, breathing organism.

Alfred constructing Bruce's gauntlets. Diana has a moment discussing it.

Zack won't say what's happening here. He loves this sequence and says it is what you might think it is.

He drew this shot himself. They planted the corn for this.

A magical moment of Clark being reborn into the memories of his life in Kansas.

A beautiful reunion of the original cast.

Cyborg is so powerful that he just walks through encryptions and firewalls. He has full control of everything technological.

Old Atlantean King using the golden trident.

The Atlantean King plays a big role in this.

He keeps calling them the "Defenders of Earth"

Cyborg saving a police officer played by the original Jimmy Olsen.

"Flash moving through a psychedelic landscape."

Zack loved shooting this JL shot. Calls it a quintessential Justice League moment.

The Flying Fox rising up to meet the Justice League. He likes the use of a vehicle for the Justice League to travel as a team.

Cyborg is piloting it remotely.

The armored JL Batsuit was Bruce preparing to face off against a new world with aliens.

Zack loves Batman's BvS suit. Plus, his armored batsuit gets destroyed somehow and goes back to the OG suit for the Knightmare timeline.

Barry being worried about an alien conqueror they have to fight.

The Wayne Aerospace hangar scene is where they come together for the first time and try to work together. Conflict arises between Aquaman and Cyborg. He doesn't trust Cyborg.

"And then #UsUnited."

Bruce is working on a new vehicle for the "coming war". Not the Flying Fox.

Batman and Superman have a nice reunion that we'll get to see.

The cut is locked and now Zack is now mostly looking at VFX shots.
