Hmm the way a lot of you talk about and treat persecutors as a whole is....bad!
Like the community talks about persecutors as a group like they aren't human/like their existence is less valuable. Like and then you wonder why many of them are so angry?

Like ik some headmates can do horrible things like and internal abuse exists and happens sometimes but that's not specific to a persecutor role. Not only that but the community has unwittingly assigned aesthetics, names, etc. to the role which is really gross actually?
Anyway in general: don't assign a persecutor role to anyone. You can call out cruel or harmful behaviors if necessary but all roles need to be self ID or you're forcing them into that identity and mindset.
And also instead of trying to "convert" them, try to understand them.

I think it's also worth noting that in many cases persecutors are treated poorly because they are more visibly mentally ill/nd. Like even if it's the same things that another headmate or the body have, it's easy to direct any internalized ableism at headmate.
And once again this isn't saying like "you can never be mad at/hate a headmate because you all matter <3" bc I know the situation is nuanced.
But like y'all have got to pay more attention to the way you treat every one with the persecutor role and the kind of ableism it promotes
