Saw a tweet from Amazon asking "What is the most iconic sports photo you've ever seen?".

Was going to reply with one, but there's so many.

So why not share them.

(Warning: a lot of bias is about to shine through.)
This shot from Dan Sheridan was probably the first to come to mind.

Absolutely spent.
Either Billy Holland or Sammy Arnold makes this one for me.

Pure joy, shot by Gary Carr.
David Rogers snapped one of the best drop goals I can remember by my favourite player of all time.
Tommy Dickson with the aerial view of Stockdale's score vs New Zealand.

Class.
This could be a Renaissance painting.

Couldn't find who took the shot but it marvelously captures the physicality and power of a maul (if not the technique).

(Please feel free to credit whoever took this.)
"He's fooled them all!"

(Inpho Photography, could not find the owner.)
And finally, Brendan Moran captured this moment.

The most emotional game I've ever, or probably will ever, attend.
As I said, I'm biased in pretty much all of those.

Feel free to reply with your own.
Also, I've used a number of people's photos there in that thread.

If it's your photo, I'll gladly pay for use of them there above.

Something I didn't think about when posting them, being totally honest.
