It is so strange to be a nonbinary person interviewing OB-GYNs who talk about the reproductive care "women" need. I don't know how to describe it other than it feels like we're temporarily stepping into a world where I don't exist.
And I find it frustrating when people say the medical field is still catching up when it comes to inclusive language, because I've spoken to plenty of endocrinologists, psychotherapists, etc. who have been doing it for 20+ years.
I don't even want to call it inclusive. I mean it is, but it's just correct language, right? If you work in reproductive health you should use correct language to talk about the care that people need.
