An open discussion should address direct causes leading to main cause, only if we wish to find a solution. Never knew if was justifying a state order. So this discussion was anyways a waste of time as it didn;t purport to find a solution to a problem

@TIinExile was right for bringing in #NGT. Delhi has been struggling from severe pollution for a decade now. A Green tax was levied to resolve this problem. However, RTI reply in 2019, suggests that ~80% of the amount so collected remained unutilised.

@D_Roopa_IPS You should also read british narrative building to demean Indian culture which Sati Pratha was also pointed out . Read Richard Hey's report 1815. These reports became founding principle for planning colonisation principles.

I am surprised for our continued apologetic behaviour. I condemn Sati Pratha with my full force. However, v shd know 100,000 execution in europe (mostly woman) under "WITCH HUNTING" during 300 years ending 1750.
