It's amazing how such a big order can look so innocuous. Congrats to @wenfa1 and @PacificLegal on the excellent cert grant in Cedar Point Nursery v. Hassid.
The question in the case is whether government can force private property owners to allow union organizers on their property.

@IJ filed an amicus brief in support of the cert petition, by the way -- explaining that this kind of physical invasion of private property is presumptively unlawful.
And an observation about labor law more broadly: Back in the mid-20th century, this country struck a "grand bargain" enacting labor laws that restrict the rights of both labor and management. Those laws are unconstitutional in all kinds of ways, and that's true on both sides.
Anyone who thinks this kind of case is "anti-union" has to ask a question: Are unions really doing so hot under the current system? Maybe we should lift the restrictions on both sides and see how it plays out.
