Kanyadaan's wedding ceremony is not just a ritual but an emotion for the girls and her parents, I saw that now the so-called feminists have been started to talk nonsense about it and its existence and started putting questions by misinterpreting the word Daan ,

but in real sense kanyadaan is passings the samskarā, the rituals , the traditions and all the learning that she receives from her parent's house to her in-laws . I ask my mother what is Kanyadaan for you,

As per our Shashtra a woman is called as GrihaLaxmi.

And at the time of marriage a groom depicts Shri Hari Vishnu and bride as Mahalaxmi .Hence Kanyadan is the greatest and purest offering that a manushyā as a Grihaşta can offer to Ishwarā.
