wolfshin are a solar eclipse—
(and it is so, so beautiful.)

if wolfgang is the sun, then in the same way shin can be likened to the moon. constantly revolving around each other in the sky but never together.

wolfgang is bright, wholesome and kind. people naturally gravitate towards him like objects to the sun.

shin is selfless, he lives to serve— like the moon orbiting around the earth. shin never asks for anything for himself, shin is too giving and too good.

he does not believe a small satellite such as himself—a moon—deserves to be next to the dazzling sun. even their orbits hold them apart, after all.

but sometimes—no matter the orbit, or the tide, or the way the stars align.. sometimes the sun and the moon want each other. no matter how far or how different. they yearn and they call and they push and they pull. and sometimes, their want for one another outweighs

every other thing that keeps them apart.

a solar eclipse is a rare moment in the sky where the moon covers the sun from the rest of the world. it’s the moment in the sky when the moon gets to be selfish and steal the sun’s light just for itself.

for that moment in time, the moon is allowed to want the sun— want its warmth and its rays and that golden light. and if the world looks away, maybe they can forget why the sun and moon were never meant to meet. maybe just this once, they can have that moment forever.

this is why wolfshin’s relationship can be perfectly symbolised by a solar eclipse. thinking about wolfshin as a solar eclipse... is just breathtaking to me. its so beautiful ... and so magical... and so astronomically outrageous. it’s perfect.
