The sad part is I got given this advice when I was 19 and didn't take it all that seriously, knowing what I know now this is the way to fast track success.

Keeping your circle small is imperative, anyone around you will influence you're trading. I have lots of friends 1/2
in this space but I don't follow, I don't even speak to most on a regular basis. Not because I dislike them or because I don't think they aren't skilled, it messes with my execution.

Another person's plan and ideas will influence you to some degree.
